Something Worth Celebrating
Check out our newest Annual Report
As a “THANK YOU!” for your continued support, we wanted you to be the first to read about the impact we had in our neighborhoods this past year by sharing our Annual Report. Some of our favorite highlights include:
Helped 20 patients secure stable housing
110% increase of Spanish speaking patients
Nearly 50% increase in behavioral health appointments
Performed 200+ blood pressure checks at outreach events
2,362 tests performed within our in-house labs
Finished in the Top 30% of clinics across the country in Quality Care
Take a spin through our 2022 Annual Report to find out more, including our 10-year goal to serve 1% of Monroe County.
As we continue into the second quarter of 2023 we’ve already seen our practice grow by more than 400 new patients and have seen an additional 440 appointments more than we did during the same period of 2022! It’s an honor to be trusted with providing quality and compassionate care to these new patients in the same way we’ve cared for many long-time patients.
The close of our first 45 years and the beginning of the next.
2023 kicks off with the 45th Anniversary of His Branches and the Morehouse Family starting our clinic along Arnett Boulevard in the 19th Ward! While there have been many changes to the people, programs, logos, and places we’ve served during that time, our mission of making God’s love known by creating hope, healing, and restoration through whole person care has not.
In spite of the work we’ve done, the depth of poverty’s cycle continues to wreak havoc in the lives of our neighbors across the city. The problems within our city are indeed large. We’ve been able to chip away the problem by providing quality care, building trust with our neighbors, and establishing collaborative partnerships with community organizations, yet strategies to increase the length and quality of life for individuals and families require financial resources beyond the woeful reimbursements provided by Medicaid and Medicare. Big solutions require significant investment.
Simply put, we can’t reach our goal of shaping healthy neighborhoods one neighbor at a time without the generosity of our community. People like you help us do good so that the least among us can have access to care!
To help us celebrate our anniversary and continue providing solutions for our neighbors, we’re looking to raise an additional $45,000. How can you help?
For current donors, please consider helping in one or more of the following ways:

For those of you who have yet to invest, consider helping us by:

With your support squarely behind us, we look forward to increasing the length and quality of life of those within our city as we work toward changing the future of health one neighbor(hood) at a time!
